What we manage, in detail.
Most clients have us look after all of it on a managed monthly plan. Every service below is also available as a project or hourly work.
Day to day
Managed IT and help desk
The day-to-day care of your computers. Updates run on a schedule, problems are caught early, and your staff have someone to call.
- Monitoring and management on every managed Windows PC, Mac and server
- Operating system and third-party application patching
- Remote help desk by phone, email or ticket during business hours
- Monitoring, patching and automated protection that keep running around the clock
- Asset inventory and lifecycle reporting, so you know what you own and how old it is
- Documentation of your network, licenses and accounts
Cybersecurity
The same security stack goes on every computer we manage. We do not offer a managed plan without it.
- Endpoint protection and detection on every computer
- Email security and phishing protection
- Identity and cloud account monitoring
- Privilege and admin-rights management, so staff can work without administrator accounts
- A business password manager for shared and individual work logins
- Multi-factor authentication for every user
- Security awareness training for your staff
Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
Set up properly, then kept tidy. We administer your account so licenses, mailboxes and sharing stay under control.
- Email migrations to Microsoft 365
- OneDrive and SharePoint setup, and Teams configuration
- Licensing, plus accounts set up and closed as staff join and leave
- Google Workspace administration
- Ongoing management and backup of your cloud data
Infrastructure
Networks and Wi-Fi
Networks designed for the building and the business, then looked after once they are in. We standardize on UniFi equipment.
- Firewalls, switches and Wi-Fi access points, supplied and configured
- Wired and wireless network design
- Secure remote access with VPN
- Firmware updates and monitoring after the install
- Replacement planning. Network hardware typically lasts five to seven years, and we recommend replacing it before it fails.
Backup and recovery
We like the power of three: a local copy, a second copy on network storage or an external drive, and a copy in the cloud. If it is not backed up, there is a good chance you will lose it.
- Workstation and server backup with cloud retention
- Microsoft 365 backup for email, OneDrive and SharePoint
- Google Workspace backup for Gmail, Drive, Calendar and Contacts
- Network attached storage for fast local recovery
- Restores handled for you when a file, a folder or a whole computer is lost
Business phones
Cloud phone systems on Zoom Phone, set up around how your office answers calls.
- Zoom Phone deployments with Yealink and Poly desk phones
- Call routing, voicemail, call park and main number caller ID
- Number porting, so you keep your existing business number
- Analog adapters for offices that still need a fax line
Planning and projects
Hardware and lifecycle
Business-class equipment, quoted and approved before anything is ordered, then replaced on a schedule.
- Computers, servers, switches and access points supplied and configured
- Lifecycle planning, so replacements are budgeted ahead of time
- Warranty claims handled with the manufacturer on your behalf
- Custom workstations for work that off-the-shelf machines struggle with
Compliance support
We work with regulated offices and can put the IT side of your obligations in place.
- IT policies, encryption and documentation
- Support for HIPAA and legal confidentiality requirements
- Security training and monitoring to reduce risk
Projects
One-off work is quoted separately, in writing, before it starts.
- Migrations and server installations
- Office moves and relocations
- Network redesigns and new installs
- Equipment builds for new hires
