Managed plans

One agreement for the day-to-day care of your IT.

Three tiers, with the same protection on every one. The tiers differ in how much support, how fast a response and how much planning you want from us.

How a plan is priced

Two parts, shown separately.

Every agreement has a managed services fee and a set of products. They appear as separate lines on one monthly invoice, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.

  1. Managed services

A flat monthly rate based on what we manage for you. This is the tier you choose, and it covers our labor and service commitments: patching, maintenance, help desk and reviews.

  2. Products

The security, backup, monitoring and password tools we deploy and run on your behalf. Each is itemized on its own line and billed in addition to the managed services fee.

The products are not included in the tier fee. Your quote shows both parts and the combined monthly total.

The tiers

What each tier is for.

  • Essentials

Foundation coverage: patch management, maintenance and limited remote support on every managed computer.

  • Recommended

    Professional

The complete managed desk: everything in Essentials plus unlimited remote support, credential and privilege management, and quarterly reviews.

  • Premier

Everything in Professional plus priority response, extended support hours and an annual technology roadmap.

Included is covered by the tier fee. A required product is part of every agreement at that tier and is itemized separately. An optional product can be added.

The security baseline

No plan without the security stack.

These are conditions of service on every tier. They are itemized so you can see them, and they cannot be removed one at a time while the agreement is in effect.

  • Remote monitoring and management on every managed computer
  • Endpoint protection and detection
  • Email security and phishing protection
  • Identity and cloud account monitoring
  • Workstation backup with cloud retention
  • Cloud backup for your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace data
Outside the plan

What the monthly fee does not cover.

We tell you before doing any work outside your plan. Anything expected to take more than an hour needs your approval first.

  • Projects such as migrations, office moves, network redesigns and new-hire equipment builds
  • Hardware, peripherals and replacement parts, which are quoted and approved before purchase
  • Mobile phones, tablets and printers, which are supported at the hourly rate
  • Support for line-of-business software beyond confirming the computer and network are working. The software vendor supports its own product.
  • Computers that do not meet the supported standard: Windows 11 Pro, or a current or previous major release of macOS
Getting started

What onboarding looks like.

A one-time onboarding fee covers the setup work below.

  1. Baseline audit

We inventory your computers, accounts and network and note anything that needs attention.

  2. Agent deployment

Monitoring and management go on every managed computer.

  3. Security rollout

Endpoint protection, email security, backup and multi-factor authentication are put in place.

  4. Documentation

Your network, licenses and accounts are written up where you can reach them.

Call for a quote.

Tell us how many people and computers you have and we will send a written quote showing both parts and the monthly total.
